What a good dad you are and it shows with your son, my parents got divorced when I was your sons age , mom read the feminist books pushed by Kruchev 1959 to destroy the family. I went to playland and loved it , parents used to drop you off there and come back hours later. I went to sutros and Flyshakers pool also. I never went to playland in Albany glad you did , we would like some background who built all these little cities , truly amazing. Show this to your son and tell him to help keep a happy home and never get divorced. Of all the stuff I have ever seen I would like a scale model of playland at the beach, that place was MAGIC

If you went to Locke in the 60's you would see many very expensive cars parked there because rich politicians from Sacramento went to Al the Wops for there famous steak dinners. Inside you would see the place packed with suits and fancy dresses and the ceiling full of dollar bills stuck up there. Those glory days for Al's are done.

A friend of mine knows the property owner and I’ve gone shooting out there a few times. If you drive a little past the hotel there’s an area with raised dirt banks on three sides and that’s where we’d shoot. Last time I was there there was a dead cow rotting away right where you’re crouched down at 3:58.

You should do a video series about the delta and the other small little towns there!

Dude i, i didnt know, i love these things, these places, this never talked about stuff about my bay area. [Its part of the bay now- talk to public broadcasting and caltrans about that.] The delta is so fascinating and rich with history its always surprising.

Hopefully they can get some ex-players out to throw first pitch out , sign autographs and other promo's to give fans a spark of interest ...IMO

A large portion of the Delta levees were built by Chinese laborers who built the transatlantic railroad and were out of work ended up here. After the Great San Francisco Earthquake the Chinese were not allowed back into Chinatown SF and ended up laying the foundation for Central Valley farming. IIRC.

Fun Fact: 98% of California's landmass is unpopulated.

If I'm not mistaken, the 49ers' lease with Levi's Stadium ends in 2053. If we're lucky and the old site is still empty, maybe they'll move back...😁 I know it's wishful thinking but I hope to see a day when they move back to SF.

its very hard for me to hear you talk about the world ending racism and hate and all that good stuff well dont you think you should actually start by ending the silence between us start by telling me why you wont speak to me at least otherwise your wishes for a better world is just words that sound good on a youtube video. Ive tried and tried till im just over it. But you dont even have the respect the decency or the balls to talk to me is just crazy I dont want nothing to do with your youtube clout or success i want my son thats all so deprive us both of valueable precious time and we both know theres not a lot of longevity in the family. I put you on.took you camping. On yiur first plane ride all the way to new york and niagra falls i was the first person to take you to Disneyland and the dreams that it created in your little head at the time and Airplanes to come home as often as i was able once we left the bay area. Ive given my entire adult life away wasting time trying and hoping you would wake up and realize what your missing. Cuz you will miss me one day and what i have to share with you is priceless you will not get anywhere else .So you keep on keeping on being that good man but ill better believe it when you take accountability as i have, for whatever it is worth I love you and miss you terribly. It's always kind of sad to see a place that's so full of memories just abandoned like this but it's also really sad that they leave so much cool stuff to just rot away and eventually be trashed. Those tapes and posters and a lot of that stuff some people would love to have but I'm sure it all just ended up in the trash
